I am delighted to let you know that Mama Popcorn- edinburgh's very own sensational 16-piece gospel funk phenomenon are playing at the amazing bongo club on Saturday 13th May!!
We will use all our resources to make this the brilliantest show humans can make - there'll be beautiful music, uplifting tunes, dirty beats, pretty ladies, dancing animals, acrobats, royalty, a portal to another world (tbc), and a few surprises as well... At last we will have a stage big
enough for us all, and a venue with enough capacity so we wont have to turn half the crowd away at the door... or will we?
Mama P have sold out every gig so far - so don't be caught out- buy a ticket in advance- from fopp (£5 + booking fee, or else pay more on the door ... or get a ticket from someone you know in the band.)
We have a whole bunch of new material and promise to hit the holy harmonies to the rudest grooves like no other band can.
Spread the word- ask that person you've wanting to ask on a date for ages - get your granny along, buy your friends tickets as gifts - spread the love and make it an amazing party! it promises to be the best one yet!
